Turin Epicurean Capital normally lasts 3 days in Turin but covid19 kept most of our guests at home and so we met them virtually online and these are our week 2 chats.

• As our guests loved the turinepi19 cheese tasting at Latteria Bera, we had planned another one this year too. Given the situation, we decided to do a virtual one where Chiara presented 7 cheeses, mostly produced in Piedmont, the vegan gianduiotti and cremini chocolates you can buy in her historic dairy and naturally, her famous whipped cream 😋

galleria Lux

One of Milan's symbols is their one and only galleria near the Duomo, Turin on her hand can brag about her beautiful 3 super gallerias: Galleria Umberto I near the Porta Palazzo market, in the Roman Quadrilatero area, Galleria Subalpina in Piazza Castello between Caffé Mulassano and Caffé Baratti Milano, two royal coffee shops and Galleria San Federico in Via Roma!

For happy hour or aperitif, Turin is the cradle of the Italian aperitivo rite and all the drinks and foods related to it.

Turin is the Italian city with more restaurants and coffee shops, so picking a good one isn't too hard. 

Among the coffee shops that marked the city's history, there is Bar Norman near Piazza Solferino, in Via Pietro Micca 22.

This is the iconic coffee shop where the Torino Football Club was founded, making it a must-visit coffee shop for all Italian soccer fans!
Bar Norman was founded in 1918 and, even if the management has changed over the years, and it has been recently restored, you can still see some signs of its glorious past.
